Terms and Conditions
Welcome to African Timeless Adventures. By booking a tour or using any of our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully as they outline your rights and responsibilities when using our services.
1. Booking and Reservations
- Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with your trip details.
- Booking Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The amount will be specified at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before departure unless otherwise agreed.
- Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer, credit card, or other payment methods as specified at the time of booking. Payments should be made in the currency specified in the booking confirmation.
2. Prices and Inclusions
- Price Validity: The prices provided are based on the details at the time of booking and may be subject to change. We reserve the right to change prices due to unforeseen circumstances, such as exchange rate fluctuations or changes in accommodation costs.
- Inclusions and Exclusions: Our packages include the services outlined in your itinerary (e.g., accommodations, park fees, transport). Exclusions include items not mentioned, such as personal expenses, tips, or optional activities. Please check your itinerary carefully to understand what is included in your package.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
- Client Cancellations: If you need to cancel your trip, the following cancellation policy applies:
- 30 days or more before departure: A full refund minus the deposit amount.
- Less than 30 days before departure: No refund, as the deposit is non-refundable.
- No-show or early departure: No refund will be issued.
In case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, we will make every effort to reschedule your tour, subject to availability.
- Company Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel or modify tours due to factors such as weather conditions, political instability, or force majeure events. If we cancel your tour, we will offer an alternative tour or a full refund.
4. Travel Insurance
- Mandatory Travel Insurance: We recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, flight delays, lost luggage, and other unforeseen events. Travel insurance is mandatory for all Mount Kilimanjaro treks and some of our more remote adventures.
- Insurance Claims: African Timeless Adventures is not responsible for any claims arising from accidents, injuries, lost property, or trip cancellations. You must file claims directly with your insurance provider.
5. Health and Safety
- Health Requirements: It is your responsibility to ensure you are fit for travel, especially for activities such as safaris, mountain climbing, or hiking. Some tours may require certain vaccinations (e.g., Yellow Fever, Hepatitis), and we strongly recommend consulting with a healthcare provider before your trip.
- Medical Conditions: If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, you must notify us prior to booking so we can ensure the trip is suitable for you. In some cases, a medical certificate may be required for participation.
- Adventure Activities: Participation in adventure activities such as safaris, mountain treks, or water sports involves inherent risks. You will be required to sign a liability waiver to confirm that you understand and accept these risks.
6. Client Responsibilities
- Travel Documents: It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct travel documents, including a valid passport, visa, and any necessary permits. African Timeless Adventures is not responsible for any travel delays or denied entry due to invalid documents.
- Behavior: You are expected to behave in a manner that respects local customs, laws, and the rights of others during your trip. We reserve the right to remove clients from a tour if their behavior jeopardizes the safety or enjoyment of others, without refund.
- Luggage: You are responsible for your own luggage. We recommend that you travel with a small suitcase or backpack, especially for safaris. African Timeless Adventures is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged luggage during your trip.
7. Privacy Policy
- Data Collection: We respect your privacy and only collect personal information necessary for the booking and operation of your tour (e.g., names, contact details, dietary preferences). This information will be used solely for the purpose of providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
- Security: We take appropriate measures to ensure the security of your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee complete security in the case of unauthorized access by third parties.
8. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you via email or through our website. By continuing to use our services, you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Tanzania.

Once in a lifetime experience
We had an amazing time during our 7 day safari. We visited the Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro National Park. From the warm welcome at the airport and our stay at the lodges to our goodbye at Arusha, we had a wonderful time. All the people we met, the culture we experienced and the food we tried, every minute of it was just perfect. Everything was planned into detail and we felt looked after with loving care the whole 7 days. The culture and nature of this country is just unbelievable, the people are very open and kind, which made us feel welcome all the time.

Our Guide was extremely helpful, constantly trying to find the most exciting spots, solving any problem that occurred, including getting the car that was stuck in the mud out again.
